4 daysinternal/rosa/package/python: disable broken testOphestra
This is very platform-specific and seems to be broken on anything other than amd64. So far only tickets for riscv64 and i586 exist, and it is only fixed for riscv64. Nobody seems to be running the test suite on arm64 for some reason. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>
8 daysinternal/rosa: update packagesOphestra
Kernel compilation is no longer failing on the amd dc dml frame size warning, and the corresponding patch has been removed. Kernel headers have been bumped due to amdgpu, landlock and intel avs changes. Glslang had its stack size increased to 1 MiB to avoid crashing against latest spirv-tools. Muon has been updated to 0.7.0, however the newly added clang-cl support has been completely removed due to it insisting on using clang-cl for everything. It is also now patched to respect CLICOLOR_FORCE. The util-linux package has been updated, and the backport patch has been removed. The long-awaited openssl 4 update, blocked by python for months, is finally added. Python 3.15 broke the test suite of package python-wheel, it has been patched to forcefully disable output colours. LLVM has been updated. A newly-broken test is disabled. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>

2026-09-15internal/rosa/package/python: reject new setuptools-scm releasesOphestra
These have become slopware for a long while now. Even before then it was only acting as a stub to cope with the messy python ecosystem. Regardless, these updates do nothing and even occasionally break things, so reject them until the stub package is available for their removal. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>

2026-08-11internal/rosa/package/python: hatchling 1.17.1 to 1.18.0Ophestra
This has gained another dependency, pulling in the fourth python build system we have had to package. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>
2026-08-11internal/rosa/package/python: poetry-core tomlkitOphestra
This is the fourth python build system required to package meson. Required by tomlkit which is now required by hatchling (yet another build system). Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>
2026-08-10internal/rosa: improve helper bindingsOphestra
This uses more intuitive names for some arguments and inverts their default value. Slices and nil-capable strings replace skip arguments. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>
2026-08-10internal/rosa: optionally block packages from early stagesOphestra
This helps avoid inadvertently increasing bootstrap input count. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>
2026-08-09internal/rosa/package/python: setuptools 83.0.0 to 84.0.0Ophestra
This has also turned into AI slop at some point, although its quality was never great to begin with. This may be a candidate to pin and ignore. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>

2026-06-10internal/rosa/package/python: add kernel-headersOphestra
Missing kernel headers implicitly disables many useful things. This change also enables PGO and installs symlink, since a rebuild is unavoidable. Signed-off-by: Ophestra <cat@gensokyo.uk>
